A moment spent alone doing something I enjoyed..
Guess what guys! Today is the most happiest and triumphant day of my life. Right now, I feel like I am at the top of the world and I am just so exhilerated that I just want to share it out with you guys. I have finally achieved what I have been dreaming about since young- to be able to juggle a soccer ball. You know all those people who juggle football along with music blasting at the background on the streets? Yes, thats the kind of juggling.
Since young, I have always been keen to learn how to juggle the ball. I was first introduced into this world of juggling by my brother. He was one day watching all these football things on youtube and clicked on a video of a bunch of proffesional street jugglers. He then all of a sudden called out to me, '' Bro! Bro! Come and take a look this!'' '' Now what? Just when it is at the climate of the movie he has to call me out.'' I thought to myself. At that moment, my eyes were glued onto the television. I was watching a DVD that my friend lended me titled, ''the spy next door'' and it was at the climate of the movie and my brother had to call me out, breaking the tension and thrill that was taking the better of me. '' Hurry! Its really great!'' he urged. I then got up and walked to him, saying, '' Whats the fuss all about?'' ''Look! Look!'' he said urgently, pointing at the computer screen. I looked at the screen and there it was, a bunch of jugglers juggling a ball. My eyes sparkled as my jaw fell fell open in admiration. Guess the term, ''first impression is the most important is the best'' is true after all.
With those cool and style juggling and those music playing in the background as they juggled, everything looked so COOL and PERFECT. So that was when I started yearning to learn how to do that. Everday, I would try to learn how to do it and would picture myself doing that kind of proffesional juggling in front of my friends in my mind. How cool I would look in front of my friends and imagine what they might think of me. Everytime I come back from school, The first thing I do is not homework but go onto computer and watch them to do that. I just get the fun out of watching them do those juggling and I would imitate their moves along with them. I just long yearn that I just one day do that and that day was today.
I was just doing my usual search on youtube, typing all possible stuff like, ''how to juggle'' , ''street juggling'' and so on on the search bar but after searching for a perfect video which would teach me how to juggle for what seemed like eternity, my effort was fultile. Just as I was going to give up hope about finding it, my eyes chanced upon a video titled ''perfect guide to good street juggling''. ''This could be a good one,'' I thought to myself as I clicked onto the video. A man popped out on the screen, giving me a little shock. Soon, the man in the video started talking about street juggling and I found myself listening attentively as he talked. Finally, he came to the part which I have been searching for ages- tips to how to jugger a soccer ball. So step by step, using words followed by personal demonstration, they brought me through the whole process.
With trial and error, I pushed myself beyond my limit, trying my best to imitate that person as he did. However, the ball kept dropping off my leg. However, as the saying goes, ''success does not come without hard work'', so that was what I did, with my determination, I pushed on despite the number of countless times I failed. Guess What! With beads of perspiration trickling down my head, I soon got the hang of it.
Following the beat and the feeling I get when the ball bounce, I was successfully able to do it. At the moment, I jumped up and down in joy, brimming with excitement.
Yes!!! Finally, I can do it. Wait till I show it off to my friends!

A problem I encountered and how I solved it.
'Oh gosh! Im late for school!', 'Oh no! I have to serve detention for sleeping in class!' , 'I have panda eyes!' Are these some of the quotes that you found yourself saying lately? Well that was exactly what I found myself saying over the past few weeks due to my lack of sleep. Let me share it with you...
This problem, also known as insomnia, is common among many teenagers, like me, and also to most of businessman, having insufficient amount of time for them to sleep and all these is because of loads of work that they have to do given by schools or companies. Worse still with these loads of work to do, you are given a dateline and you are to submit it on time. So due to this pressure, it leads to our 'favourite' problem, stress.
Since I am studying in an old boys school, Victoria School, and whats more it is one of the top secondary schools in singapore, we are piled up with many projects and homeworks since the beginning of the year. So everyday I had to stay up all night, even during the wee hours to finish up all my assignments and homeworks, hence sometimes I found myself screaming out loud and wishing that I was not born into this world where everywhere you go you find yourself digging in piles of work. So as the days grew by, I found myself getting more lethargic than usual and sometimes tend to fly off the handle easily. Moreover I could not even think which makes me pondering if I even had a brain. So one day when I woke up and stood in front of the mirror, I saw blu-black formed aound my sentence. Rubbing my blurry eyes to countercheck, yes indeed I was having PANDA EYES!!!
I knew that I had to do something about my insomnia and so one day I sat down in my room and started pondering over my problem, frowning my black wavy eyebrows. So after thinking for like what seemed like eternity, I soon figured out a solution and that was time management. So then I planned out my schedule, limiting a limited amount of time for doing each subjects, of course also taking into account of my CCA activitiea at school.
Well, guess what! After a few weeks, I made a DRASTIC IMPROVEMENT, and that was that I became my usual self-no more panda eyes, no more signs of lethargic and so on. Who knows that a simple timetable could solve bot my homework problems and the insomnia problem. This is truly a ''killing two birds with one stones'' sitution.
To all who have insomnia, you might want to try this out, who knows that this efficient method might work on you one way or another.

Something that took place in school.
Hey guys, I got something shocking to tell you about something that happened in school, athough it was quite an unsightful incident. Well, here's how it happened...
''Ring......!'' the sharp ringing of the school bell reverberated through the air, piercing through my ear and I felt as if my ear drums was about to burst any seconds. It was time for the next period which was geography, which our whole class hated alot.*It is not geography that we hate but the teacher and the way the lesson is conducted*. Soon, the whole class was filled with grumbles and moanings of my classmates. As for me, I would like to call it the geography blues, whereby when it is time for geography, I would mutter to myself, ''Here comes the geography blues.'' and that was what I did.
As we waited for Miss Ralia----yes, that's her name--- the whole class turned rowdy as we began doing our usual monkey business, with some hitting water bottles against the desk to create music, some others whipping people around with the school tie. ''Click! clack! click! clack!'' the sound of footsteps made by high heeled shoes could be heard. ''Yes that is her all right, the usual sound of her high heeled shoes never fail to give her presence away.'' I thought to myself as I shouted out loud at the top of my lungs, '' Guys! Miss Ralia is coming, quick!'' Immediately after I shouted, everybody pushed and shoved each other out of their way, getting back to their seats as fast as possible. In a blink of an eye, there was nothing but dead silence and everything was back to order.
Here she comes, striding in as she yet again shows off another brand new set of her costumes. She then proceeds on with her indian accent, ''Boys, take out your geography text books.'' Upon hearing that tongue-twisting accent of hers, the whole class bursted out into laughters, laughing so hard that everyone of us squeezed our stomach with tears rolling down our cheeks. Oblivious about what made us laugh, she yelled, '' What are you guys laughing about?! Showing no respect to me! All stay back after school!'' At spur of his anger, one of our classmates pointed a middle finger at her and scolder her the 'F' word. Oh, this caused our teacher to be angry as her face turned blue in rage as she stomped her way down to that boy and ''piak!'' she gave him a tight slept acroos his cheeck At this point, the whole class went dead as their mouth opened agaped.
Oh my gosh, she slept him?! I thought teachers were not allowed to make any physical contact with their students?'' I thought in my mind as the incident happened. That calssmate of ours sat back down as lesson resumed. So after 30 minutes of silence the class soon ended and it was also the end of school and every one of us departed home.
As I made my way back home, that incident sets me thinking, how can that teacher slept a student when it is stricly restricted by the MOE? Who does she think she is, that boy's mom? I thought a school like victoria school has many proffesional teachers? Well guess that there are such teachers out there, whether in a good school or not.

A special moment I enjoyed with my family..
I was lying on my mom's bed, exhausted from my vigorous Table-Tennis training I had at school. My muscles were aching and i felt as if all my powers were drowned away. There was a side-table beside my mom's bed and on it were some photographs, so the usual curious me decided to take a look at what photographs they were and on it was those smiling faces spread across the faces of my family and I. ''Oh yes, that day was indeed a special moment I had with my family.'' I reminisced back deep in thought into that happy and joyful day we had....
It was New Year's Eve and my father decided that the whole of our family go out and have some sumptious dinner at a five star hotel, named 'Pan Pacific Hotel'
So then our family got changed, each wearing nice good looking shirts and pants. As for me, I was clad in a black collar-shirt and grey skinny jeans. I have been keeping those set of clothes for a special moment and yes, I can finally wear them! So at around 6 p.m, we finally set off with our Toyota picnic car towards our destination. In the car, we played some New year songs and sang along with it. Apparently all of us were in the mood of a new year's celebration. In the mist of our joy, as though we were only in the car for a few minutes, we soon arrived at the hotel. Wow! The hotel was like a GIANT MANSION and it was decorated with many bright lights and they were hung in a wavy manner. Upon this amazing sight, my eyes sparkled. When we arrived there, we had a hard time parking the car as the place was sardine-packed with cars and after waiting for like what seemed like eternity, we soon found a parking lot.
We then arrived at the buffet room and soon my ears were filled with the cling clang of forks and spoons and the aroma of the food started tickling my nostrils We handed the counter our tickets and we were finally free to choose our food. Wow! You cannot imagine how delicious-looking they were. There were fried beans, chicken, prawns and many more. Saliva drooled as I picked my food and I soon found myself digging in 'heaps' of scrumptious food. So then we ate a hearty meal and I took 3SERVINGS. Yea! I am not kidding. Over dinner, we had some laughters and there we also shared our personal life. Who knows dinner would be a great time to get to know each other and be even closer to each other. It was 8 p.m.by the time we finished our dinner and not having enough of the celebration, we decided that we go to riverside point which is located at boat quay to celebrate new year's eve and countdown to new year.
After about half and hour of driving, we eventually reached our destination. We were welcomed by the deafening musics playing through stereos in the different bars and the bright glaring signboards which decorated the place. We then slowly strolled around the place where it was crowded with people and bustling with many activities like stage performances and many people singing karaoke and dancing, letting themselves free. Along our stroll, I caught sight of an ice-cream shop surrounded by many amused people. ''What is so good about an ice-cream shop?'' I thought. So then I decided to take a closer look and I found the answer. The ice-cream seller was playing tricks on people to prevent people from easily enabling to get they're ice-cream like stacking a second cone beneath one cone and when people grab their ice-ceam, the fake cone comes off and the ice-cream is still in the hands of the seller. Looking at his innovative and amusing tricks, I laughed till I could not feel my own stomach. We also bumped into some group of people going around the area playing ear-deafeaning Jamaican music using Jamaican-styled instruments like the bongo's along our way. In a blink of an eye, as if we have just arrived, it was only a few minutes away from countdown. So then we waited till the last 10 seconds of 2009 before starting the countdown and it was finally down to 10 seconds. Everybody there started to countdown, ''10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Happy New Year!!!'' Instantaneously there were many displays of dazzlingfireworks and everybody started jumping in joy, and many repetitions of the word''cheers!'' could be heard. For us, we started to shout about and scream our lungs out as we viewed the beautiful display of fireworks. For the first time, we had never been so close before as we put our hands over one another's shoulder and swayed to the new year song that was plaing along in the background. It was soon 12.30 and the celebration ended and it was finally time for us to go home. We reluctantly left the place as we leave behind 2009 and walk into 2010.
This is indeed the most memorable and one of the special moments that I had in my life and it would be etched in my mind for eternity. This experience has increase our family bonding and at the same time we got an opportunity to enjoy ourselves as one family and that is the best thing that I ever wish for. something unusual that happened.
Today had been the most ''unusual day of my life''. I do not know why but since the time I woke up, some unusual things has happened to me.
''Ring...'' the bell rang incessantly and I jerked up from bed. I did my usual things to get ready for school which included styling my hair. Yes indeed I do like to style my hair. After getting ready, I took my step out of my bedroom and ''swoosh'' I went tumbling down the twenty-steps staircase and landed head-on onto the ground with a loud thud. ''Ouch!'' I shouted in agony as the pain took the better of me. Thank god the floor was carpetted or who else knows what might have happened to me? My natural reflexes also made me spout out some vulgarities and looking back up the steep staircase, there was a tiny soft blue ball rolling across the floor. I muttered to myelf, enraged, ''Sheesh didn't I tell my little brother to keep his toys after playing with it? Aargh neer mind.'' Deciding not to make things complicated by scolding my little brother, I ate a hearty breakfast and went to school.
Guess what! When I reached school, I was caught by some neatly-attired prefects. Why? Well, they walked up to me with a stern look on their face and said, ''Excuse me, do you know that you are not allowed to alter school uniforms?'' I looked at him in lost, not knowing what he saying. He continued,'' Look at your pants, you have altered them'' I then took a look down to my pants and yes, the pants were skinny. So then for this, I was ''awarded'' a 2 hour detention. I thought to myself,''Come on, can this day get any worse? First the fall, now this, what's next?''
Yes this day indeed got worse. After school, I decided to watch a movie, titled ''2012'' with a group of friends at Plaza Singapura. Before the show was about to begin, I realised that I wanted to urine, but since the movie was about to start, I decided to hold on. Little did I know that it was a three-hours movie, so after about two hours which seemed like eternity to me, I felt as if my bleader was about to burst. So then I made my way across the aisle. The place was pitch-black and I could not see anything, so thinking that the exit was just up the aisle, I charged in front and ''bang!'' I crashed into a wall. It felt as if I got hit by rock on a head. Worse still, the people there giggled. Hey people! I am here in pain and you guys are laughing? How rude!
As I type this post, all these sets me thinking, is god against me? Why did all these happen to me? Nothing like this ''unfortunate has happened to me before.'' Well maybe these unusual things can bring me some laughs. Whew! What an unusual day.
